Parent Contract

The goal of this contract is to provide transparency. All members, including children and parents, will be required to conduct themselves in a manner which will be respectful of others and venues we plan to visit together. Failure to meet these expectations will have consequences such as revocation of your membership with Learning With Amigos.

Parents will be expected to:

Email and website are the primary forms of communication for this group. Be sure to check and read all emails carefully.
Make sure you and your family always arrive at least 10 minutes early to class, field trips, and events. Some places require that we all be present before starting, having to wait for families running late is inconvenient and at times will shorten our class or event. However, we do understand things happen. In the event that you are running late, it is your responsibility to update the administrator as soon as possible.
Ensure that you and your family clean up after yourselves.
Be the primary disciplinarian of their child(ren).
- Ensure that your children are attentive and respectful to event hosts/teachers and other adults present during our outings.
- Correct any issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure that your child(ren) behave appropriately to the setting.
Keep child home if sick or someone else in the home is sick.
Make sure child(ren) do not bring weapons of any kind with them to our adventures.
Pay on time and understand if field trips and events are paid late there will be a $5 surcharge.
Be respectful of other member's political, medical, religious views especially when they differ from your own.
Some outings will require parent participation. Please make sure to come prepared to assist your child if needed. This may include speaking softly or not at all during lessons and/or putting electronical devices away.

Understand that failure to comply with this contract will jeopardize my privilege to participate in the group. Learning With Amigos reserves the right to deny participation to any family or student.
