World Day for Cultural Diversity

World Cultural Diversity Day is celebrated every year on May 21st to highlight the richness of our world's different cultures.

Let's celebrate together on May 23rd at 222 Ramapo Valley Road in Oakland, NJ by having each family host a country of their choosing.

Admission for families able to host a country will pay $5 per child. Families will be assigned a table where they will display their country.

Please make sure to bring a popular dish for tasting and an arts and craft activity related to your country.

Admission for spectators is $10 per child. These families will arrive at noon and are welcome to view the beautiful and informative stations.

WALK-INS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.

We need to make sure to have enough food tasters so RSVPing in advance is imperative.

Each child will receive a passport ($5 Value) which will be stamped after they complete a "country" (station).

ALL TICKETS ARE NONREFUNDABLE.

Schedule

11:00am Families hosting a country can start to set up.

11:30am - 1:00pm Families visit different countries.

1:00pm to 2:00pm LUNCH (Presentatios will be kept up for those that would like to still see around and/or complete crafts.)

We will have Pizza, snacks, and drinks for purchase.

2:00pm to 2:40pm Clean Up

All are welcome to stay for outdoor RECESS if weather permits.

3:00pm Hasta Luego
